Hi I’m Akasha!
I’m a 3.5 year old Siberian Husky purebred — a super intuitive, sensitive, focused, little hunter of small creatures, love birds, and oh so smart! I’m quiet but I’ll ‘talk’ to you when I know it’s time for a meal or when I’m having a good stretch. I’ve been raised well and am now ‘graduating’ from my birth family out into the world to find where I belong! I’m looking for my unique heart-and-soul family with whom to find my forever home! Is that you?
It’s so nice to meet you! I’m like the ‘perfect’ pet because I’m so quiet and adaptable. Just be sure to learn what I need and we’ll be best buds! I’m infinitely curious and just as intuitive — you can probably sense it and definitely see it in my eyes. It’s so nice to meet you! I bet you can also see right away how pure, focused, and totally tuned in I can be. Like my name, I just like to exist, grow, learn, and share the love husky-style. And like a cat, I also radiate a strongly independent nature, while expressing an utterly sweet, reserved yet do-my-own-thing mellow alpha nature.
My beautiful blue eyes see the purity in life, and that’s what I also see in you when I look at you! While I hold the mind-reading and intuitive space like a champ, I also easily hold my own and display the qualities of a true beta-leader once I feel comfortable. I’m very active, finding my ground by running fast, following birds as they flit among the trees, chasing fast moving critters and playing with my pack.
I can be snuggly and open to new adventures with those I am attuned to. I’m aloof at first and like to stay in my room (crate) until I feel safe. Then I love to explore and get to know everyone around me. I’m very good a catching field mice. It’s as if I have the heart of a lion and the soul of a Scholar! I’m a dependable girl with a sophisticated nature. That’s my style!
I take direction quite well. Just remember I do respond best to positive reinforcement, so I don’t get set in habituated resistance. That’s because I’m an independent thinker and need gentle firm re-direction, rather than a full stop. That means just tell me what you DO want rather than focusing overly on what you don’t want. Distract me and guide me. I’ll get the program, and then lead with it; cuz I’m super smart.
I’m very tuned-in to the emotions of those in my environment. I’ll be a great best friend because I’ll know what my pack is really going through. Likewise, I’ll do best with kindness and cuddles to help me calm down when I’m overwhelmed, stressed or unsure.
I’ll love you with all my heart an we’ll have the most fun adventures together! I can’t wait to meet my forever family! I’m still young, so I can be shy at first. Introduce me to the whole world, but take your time helping me learn. Be consistent with your guidance, and have patience with me when we practice. Give me lots of encouragement and praise. As I get to know you and trust you, we’ll listen and respect each other, and our friendship will blossom.
I’m a proud Virgo, on the Libra cusp (born on Sept 19th), so I have real focus and perspective in just the most balanced way. I’m happily independent, but also a team player because my pack (who I’ve grown up being bonded to) has been the most important thing for me. I love adventure walks, belly rubs, treats, chews, and spending time with you!
Growing up with my brothers, just like the adventuresome youth in the story of Huckleberry-Finn, I too love discovering new things! My walks on trail and in the field are filled with smells, sounds, meeting other living things and learning how to socialize with other beings. There’s so much to take in, and I’m still soaking it all up. I enjoy more socialization away from my birth family’s farm.
My ideal forever family will be a pack themselves, take me on outdoor walks, let me run in a safe high-fenced yard, cani-cross (bungee-leash hip-belt running with you), or other adventures, and give me loads of attention and chew treats. Then I’ll love to just find a quiet spot to rest and be chill until tomorrow. I’ll be the perfect autonomous yet committed companion, and I’ll always bring you up with my sweet playfulness, freedom, and curiosity. The weather’s perfect this season— Let’s go exploring!

Just like humans, all beings have a distinct and sentient life. To understand the individual of any species means seeing its ability to thrive in the context of its inherent nature and changing environment.
Human Design is our favorite go-to system for boosting relationship harmony and self inquiry! With it, we are able to ‘take the temperament temperature’ of both ourselves and our huskies' through archetypes. It gives us a glimpse into our/their modus operandi, and unique personality traits. And it even reflects overarching themes (Purpose?), and enjoyments (Passions?).
